" I wish i could rely upon you more, with your teammates." (Chapter 2, pg. 9)

This quote is describing a trust/ reliability issue. It tells a story about someone whom is not a team player. This person cannot work together properly with his/her teammates. This person may work better alone because they cannot be trusted to work well with others. I can related to this quote because in previous years I've worked in groups with people who sit around while everybody else is doing the work.

" My heart is a stone, i can feel it hardening." (Chapter 14, pg.104)

This quote is describing someone who is turning coldhearted. This persons heart has probably been broken and they are closing up their feelings and hiding their true emotions because of it. They most likely were hurt many times before. They shuts everyone out because they are afraid of being hurt again. This quote described someone who feels no emotion. This quote describes me when i went through my first heartbreak.

"He isn't a boy any longer. He's changed." (Chapter 14, pg. 100)

This quote describes a a boy who is becoming a man, a boy who is growing up. It speaks the difference between a man and a boy. I would think of this quot being said by father to a mother who still treats their son as if he is still a kid. I make this reference because my dad once told my mom this before my brother went off to the college.

" I love it here. I could die here...and be happy (Chapter 23, pg. 146)

This quote is describing someone who loves to be in a specific place. Being in that certain place gives the person joy. This person would live in that place forever if they could. Theirs no other place they would rather be. I can relate to this quote because i have a favorite place i could live in forever where i'd be happy. A special place of mine would be my grandmas house. Being there just makes me feel at home. I get so excited when i go over there.
