Book Review

I didn’t really like this book because two girls by the names of Muriel and Miriam accused a boy named Matt Donaghy of saying something he didn’t mean literally.  They overheard Matt talking to his friends, Matt made a statement about blowing up the school and massacring as many people as he could but he was saying it in a sarcastic manner. They had misinterpreted his meaning behind saying that. They reported matt to the principle.  I felt like that wasn’t cool because I know how it feels to be accused of something you didn’t do. I don’t like this book because it doesn’t have any humor I felt that it was boring and uninteresting. This book has no action that grabbed my attention it had nothing to keep me entertained. The chapters were also too short could have been longer. The book could have been better and more pertaining to the story. Through the book some chapters were going off subject from the last which made it hard for me to understand the book. That made the book kind of confusing because it has to parts to the story it should have been all together. Parts were cut and placed later on in the book I felt like they should have been placed in the same chapter because it would’ve made the book run more smoothly. For those reasons I give the book a C rating on a scale of A- F. Although I didn’t really like the book I decided that the book doesn’t deserve a grade lower than C because the book is completely terrible but it’s not the best book either. I did like the fact that Ursula was there for Matt when nobody was throughout his whole situation. They became best friends and their relationships actually reminds me of me and my best friends relationship. I also liked it because at the end they finally kissed which I predicted would happen when I was halfway through the book.
